Elites Generation

Membership

Tiers that name a kindof care, not a product tier.

Membership is how we recognize the people who choose to give to the Foundation on a regular basis. The names are intentional. They reflect community standing, not a feature matrix.

Every tier uses the same app, the same communities, the same everything. The difference is the act of giving, and the way we quietly thank people for it.

What it does not do

Membership is a tip, not a tier.

Most of what people assume about paid tiers in an app does not apply here. The charter forbids most of it, and the rest is just a product decision we are not interested in making.

01

It does not gate features.

Every tier uses the same app. The companion, the communities, the connections, the circle, the wellbeing tools, the research: all of it is the same for a free member as it is for a Founding Member.

02

It does not unlock tiers of anything.

No silver, no gold, no platinum. No premium feed. No priority matching. No early access to features. Paying more does not make you matter more inside the app.

03

It does not rank you.

Other members do not see what you pay. You are a member. The badge, if you choose to display it, is a quiet marker that you decided to help.

04

It does not renew by dark pattern.

Cancel in two clicks, any time. No retention scripts. No confirm-shaming. The only thing we will do when you leave is send a receipt for the last month and, if you want one, a thank you.

On the Founding tier

Founding Member is closed at 5,000. Once it is closed, it is closed forever.

Founding Member is the most meaningful tier in the early years, and it is designed to stay meaningful. We will recognize the first five thousand people who chose to fund the Foundation when it was still being built, and that recognition will last for life.

Once the tier is full, it stops accepting new members. There is no waiting list that converts later. No quiet re-opening. No “early Founding Member” framing to paper over the close. If you were there, you were there.

This is not a scarcity marketing move. It is the opposite. We are going to undersell this tier on purpose, because what it means depends on it staying small.

What members are part of

The member meeting once a year, held openly, where the leadership team answers questions on the record. The annual member survey that informs our priorities. Early preview of essays and research. The roundtable for Founding Members once a year.

These are not perks. They are the quiet infrastructure of a community that expects to hold itself accountable. The badge, if you choose to display it in communities, is a way for other members to know you are part of that infrastructure.

Everything else, the companion and the communities and the connections and the circle, is the same for every member. That is the whole point.

When you’re ready

Become a member. At any tier. Including the free one.

If the charter is the reason you want to be here, the principles are where it is written down. Read them before you join if you like. Or after. Either way.

Recurring membership contributions to Elites Generation Foundationare tax-deductible once the Foundation’s 501(c)(3) status is granted by the IRS; gifts made before final determination become tax-deductible retroactively upon approval.
