Elites Generation

About the Foundation

A nonprofit for the things that depend on trust.

We are a community of people building a platform we would want to use ourselves. We incorporated as a nonprofit foundation because the work we are doing only holds up when it cannot be sold to someone who does not share the premise.

How the organization is structured

Two entities. One mission. The split is the point.

The Foundation

Elites Generation Foundation, Inc.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit (application pending). The Foundation holds the mission, owns the intellectual property, and carries the charter commitments that cannot be unwound by a future board. Free core forever. No behavioral ads. No sale of individual data. Audited financials, published annually. The Foundation is the mission, in legal form.

The Subsidiary

Elitesgen, Inc.

A taxable corporation wholly owned by the Foundation. The subsidiary builds, ships, and operates the apps and programs: the flagship Elitesgen wellbeing platform, romantic connection, Egen Academy, Egen Active, and the enterprise wellbeing work. Revenue flows back to the Foundation. Engineers and operators are paid at market, with long-term incentives tied to the subsidiary's performance. Commerce sits here so the mission does not have to carry it.

Elites Generation Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (application pending). The apps, engineering, and commercial programs are operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, Elitesgen, Inc. See Governance for the full structure.

Ubuntu, a southern African idea

I am because we are.

The Foundation exists to make that sentence operational. Not a slogan on a wall. A charter that binds. Communities that hold. A platform that refuses to make money by fragmenting the people it serves.

That is the whole of it. The rest of this page is the detail.

How we work

The posture of the place.

01

Warm, not soft.

We are a serious organization about a serious problem. We are also, every day, the quiet hand on a shoulder.

02

Serious, not stiff.

Rigor lives in the work. It does not have to live in the sentences. We write like a thoughtful person wrote it, because one did.

03

Patient.

The things we are measuring take years. We will still be here.

04

Honest.

We tell the truth about what we do, what we know, what we are unsure of, and what went wrong. Especially that last one.
